Many different areas of responsibility belong to the Fiss-Ladis Ski School. Besides ski instructors and snowboard instructors, staff also work in the office and sales, in childcare, in the kindergarten, in administration, in marketing, in IT, in the personnel area, in cleaning and in the infrastructure. Together all areas ensure that lesson, care, organisation and service work well together.

Yes. Whoever works in ski or snowboard lessons needs the suitable training and must be safely on the way on skis or snowboard. The more demanding the course area is, the more important are experience, professional qualification and a good feeling for safety, terrain and guests.

Yes. The Team Resort Fiss offers staff accommodation near the ski school during the season. The staff live there in self-catering apartments with furnished kitchens. At the same time a strong team environment is created during the season through the joint living.

New staff are trained before their deployment and made familiar with the most important procedures. These include, among other things, meeting points, course times, safety rules, communication with guests and parents, meal procedures, teaching aids and organisational standards. In addition there are regular trainings, so that the team can start well prepared into the season.

Important are joy in dealing with people, sense of responsibility, team spirit and a professional appearance. In the lesson patience, resilience, flexibility, communication strength and a good feeling for guests also count. Whoever works with children should additionally bring empathy, clear guidance and joy in playful learning.

Staff receive various benefits that support them during the season. These include, among other things, ski pass, ski depot, uniform, first-aid bag, discounts at local sports shops and regular trainings.

During the winter season around 200 core instructors belong to the team. In peak times the ski school grows to up to around 400 instructors.
