Full-day supervision surcharge without skis in Bertas Kindergarden in Fiss or for Snow Adventure
Is there a possibility to get to know the start before the first course day?
Yes. With Bambiniland "HALLO" there is a free information event every Sunday for our youngest and their parents. Together you can get to know the surroundings, try out first steps on skis and prepare for the course in a relaxed atmosphere.
What happens if my child is not yet ready for the ski course?
Every child develops at its own pace. If a child does not yet want to stay in the group without its parents or feels overchallenged in the course, that is completely normal and of course no problem. In this case Berta's Snow Adventure can be a suitable alternative. Sometimes a new attempt at a later point in time is also the best solution.
How many children are in a Bambini group?
The Bambini groups are deliberately small and consist of a maximum of five children. This allows the ski instructors to respond individually to each child and create a calm, safe learning atmosphere.
From what age can children take part in the Bambini ski course?
The Bambini ski course is aimed at children from three years of age. In small groups the children playfully gather their first experiences on skis and learn to handle snow, equipment and movement in a child-appropriate way.
Why does the Bambini course only take place in the morning?
The Bambini course is deliberately structured as a half-day course, since three-year-old children are still very young physically and emotionally. This way there remains enough time to rest and process the many new impressions. Anyone who also wants supervision in the afternoon can combine the Bambini course with Berta's Snow Adventure.
What equipment does my child need for the Bambini ski course?
Your child needs skis, suitable ski boots, a helmet and weather-appropriate ski clothing as well as gloves. Also important is a pair of ski or sun glasses and sun protection. The ski equipment should match the body size and the skiing ability.
My child is almost 3 years old, can he/she ride along in the Bambini course?
Basically children must be at least 3 years old and diaper-free in order to take part in our ski courses. However, should your child turn 3 within two weeks before your holiday and already be dry, the head of the Kinderland does make exceptions in individual cases. You are welcome to take part in the information hour on Sunday ("Bambiniland HALLO") and discuss on site whether an exception is possible. Please understand that unfortunately we cannot guarantee this. With children who are noticeably younger still, our experience shows that it is usually still too early for them. Often they are not yet mentally and/or physically up to the demands of a ski course.
