FAQ
From what age are snowboard courses possible?
For children from five years there are already Burton Riglet courses as a playful entry into snowboarding. Regular snowboard courses are mostly sensible from about six years. Besides age, motor skills, coordination, strength and motivation of the child are decisive.
Do you already have to be able to ski if you want to learn snowboarding?
No. Beginners start with the basics. These include the correct basic position, first gliding and sliding exercises, balance on the board and the first controlled turns.
Where do the snowboard courses take place?
Beginners start with the first exercises in the Boarderclub. With increasing skiing ability the groups are also on the way on the slopes in the ski area. This way the terrain always fits better to the respective skill level.
What equipment is needed for a snowboard course?
You need a snowboard, suitable snowboard boots, a helmet as well as weather-appropriate clothing and gloves. A pair of ski or sun glasses and sun protection are also recommended, so that you are well prepared for the most varied conditions.
Can adults also learn snowboarding?
Yes. Snowboard courses are possible for children, young people and adults. Beginners learn the basics step by step, advanced riders work depending on ability on technique, safety and further riding forms.
What do already advanced snowboarders learn?
Advanced snowboarders improve their riding technique, gain more confidence on the slope and work on controlled turns. Depending on skill group, conditions and day programme, freestyle, funpark or freeride elements can also be added.
My child is 15 and would like to snowboard. There are only children's and adult courses. Which do I book?
We recommend the children's course for children up to 12 years. You can, however, book either one in this case; the only difference is that you can add the lunch directly in the online booking if you choose the children's course. The participants are then assigned age-appropriately on site anyway.
